One of the problems with conventional graters is that it can be difficult to remove the scrapings from the hulls of the leaves after the grating operation. However, Handi-Zest has its own mini sheet cleaner that easily picks up all the peeling debris on the back of the sheet. When using the wiper, simply slide the peelings along the blade until they reach the hole at the end, where they can be easily removed. The design includes its own protective sleeve to ensure safe storage.
