Calasparra is located at 350 meters. above sea level. Since the 18th century, rice has been cultivated in Calasparra. The situation, the mountainous environment and the quality of the water used in the crops (headwaters of the Segura and El Mundo rivers that come from mountainous areas) influence the high quality of the rice. Semi-integral rice preserves part of the edible hulls and the rice germ, providing fiber, amino acids and nutrients to the diet. Variety: Balilla x Sollana.
