Description
In India, one of the most famous varieties of pepper is Tellicherry: it is quite spicy, with an exquisite aroma of wood and a long-lasting and very aromatic aftertaste. Its origin: Tellicherry is the English name of Thalassery, a port city on the Malabar coast, in southern India. The English settlers in 1708 built a formidable fortress there in order to control the trade in the region's spices, including its famous black pepper.
